Coupling

The claw coupling has two different axle mountings: square and round. The expanding mandrel coupling, however, is only available with a round axle mount. The elastomers are made of TPU and can be replaced when worn. Furthermore, the bore diameters on the motor and axle side can also be configured. The advantages of the couplings at igus® are that they have a Shore hardness of 98 Sh A and at the same time they also have an extreme temperature resistance of -30°C to 120°C.
