The drygear® Apiro® heavy duty is the reinforced version of the proven Apiro® worm gear screw jack and was developed specifically for applications where higher loads, more stability and precise guidance of linear movements are required.
Thanks to the robust heavy-duty housing, the gearbox is ideal for demanding environments in automation, packaging and mechanical engineering. The linear movement is generated directly from the rotational movement of the gearbox, which allows for a compact, clearance-free and reliable stroke movement.
Like all Apiro® gearboxes, the heavy-duty version also works without lubrication in dry operation. This reduces maintenance and downtime, and facilitates use in dirt-sensitive or hygiene-critical areas.
At igus®, Apiro® stands for modular, cost-efficient gearbox solutions. Operators can easily integrate the heavy-duty worm gear screw jack into the modular Apiro® gearbox system and operate it both manually or by motor. Thanks to the modular design, individual solutions can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
