igubal KBLM and KBRM CL – rod ends with female thread and moulded-on nut
The igubal KBLM and KBRM CL plastic rod ends of the K dimensional series, with clipped-in spherical ball and female thread, offer an attractive alternative to conventional metal rod ends and simplified installation thanks to their hexagonal housing with moulded-on nut for direct locking. They compensate for misalignments and edge loads and, thanks to their light weight and the absence of external lubricants, are a cost-effective and maintenance-free choice for a wide range of applications in numerous industries. They are equipped with a solid lubricant that is released in microscopic quantities over time. As a result, they enable low-friction dry operation between the shaft and spherical ball, eliminating the need for relubrication.
Shaft diameter, thread direction, thread type and spherical cap material can be selected, with iglidur W300 (standard), W300 with stainless steel sleeve for increased tightening torque, J, J4 and R available. The housing material is made of igumid G, an impact-resistant and long-fibre reinforced polymer, which is suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and short-term exposure up to +180°C.
Our rod ends are used in various industries to transmit dynamic forces in pivoting, tilting and rotating movements. You can use our igubal expert system to ensure that the rod ends are optimally matched to the individual requirements of a specific application. This system draws on data determined in the igus laboratory and makes it possible to obtain a customised recommendation for the respective application.
