iglidur i3000 is an easy-to-process, tribologically optimized 3D printing resin. It combines high wear resistance with a low coefficient of friction, thereby achieving a service life up to 60 times longer than that of conventional 3D printing resins. The process is suitable for components with fine structures and tighter tolerances that cannot be produced using filament or sintering processes. The integrated solid lubricants make the printed components fully self-lubricating and low-maintenance.
Since skin contact with the liquid resin must be avoided, personal protective equipment is absolutely necessary during application. For best results, be sure to shake the bottle of resin well before use.
Tip: In its in-house 3D printing service, igus processes iglidur i3000 Resin using the traditional DLP process at a high resolution, which enables highly detailed shapes and recesses. → Learn more about our online 3D printing service
Printing Guidelines and Material Profiles
If you use 3D printers from Asiga or Genera, the material profile for processing iglidur i3000 is stored in the respective material databases. Additional material profiles, including one for the Formlabs Form 4, can be found in the “Downloads” tab and here in the overview.
