Not only in textile processing, huge and highly complex machines and plants work continuously and with high throughput. Every minute spent replacing defective components is expensive; every minute that the system runs free of interruptions is precious. Additional dust and fibres impair the operating characteristics.  ​

iglidur E offers very high endurance in these applications. Due to the specially optimised material composition, plain bearings made of iglidur have very low wear properties, which results in longer maintenance intervals and thus less expensive downtime.  ​
