• High modularity and customisability are paramount
• Widths need to be subsequently adjusted to a certain extent
• Chips and dirt are prevalent, as the trough is open (optionally with base)
• Attention must be paid to quiet running and therefore low noise emissions
• The energy chain must be particularly protected against wear
• The energy chain must be connected and fixed quickly
• The trough should be made of seawater-resistant aluminium
• The chain-lower run should be secured against lateral displacement during lateral acceleration
