Detail functional principle

Double lock

Proven and extremely secure opening principle. Two simple lever movements disengage the crossbar. Crossbars therefore hold reliably even with heavy filling and are still easily openable.

Notched crossbars

The notched crossbars allow the use of notch separators. These remain securely in position even when applications are moved sideways. Cables cannot be crushed.

Openable crossbars

Crossbars can be easily pivoted open and removed completely. This makes it easy to insert cables. The crossbars of the other E6.1 series are openable and removable on the left and right.

Flexible and secure connection

Fastening options in all directions - at the top, bottom or front. Knocked-in steel bushes for a secure hold. Optimum connection to the energy chain thanks to the same shape and material.

Connector made of special material

A highly flexible connector made of the special material igumid TE ensures a secure, long-lasting connection of the E6.1 chain links. The special material is extremely flexible and has been developed for an almost unlimited number of bending cycles.

Connector with virtually no friction

The connector between the chain links replaces the classic pin/bore connection. This significantly reduces abrasion. Applications in rooms with high cleanroom classes become possible.

Inner/outer link principle

The principle of an inner link and an outer link has an enormous advantage. Both sides are exactly the same size and absolutely parallel.

Small pitch, smooth running

The "polygon effect" states that many small elements create a rounder shape than a few large ones. The particularly small pitch of the E6.1 ensures a very round tracking behaviour. This reduces vibrations to a minimum and enables maximum precision. At the same time, the rolling noise is significantly reduced.

E6.1 - plastic crossbars to protect cables

Cable-friendly interior separation

Smooth, cable-friendly and rounded contours ensure a long service life for the cable and hose. In addition, better and more cable-friendly interior separation can now be achieved with fewer standardised parts.

Openable in the inner and outer radius

The e-chain E6.1 has removable crossbars in both the inner radius and the outer radius. This makes it easier to access and insert the cable and hose into the energy chain.

Cable-friendly plastic crossbars

Smooth, cable-friendly inner contour and rounded crossbars ensure a long service life for the cable and hose. The interaction of the tribo-optimised plastic of the crossbars with the jacket material of the cable used results in the best pairing in the service life of cables in tests.

Few parts, made from one material

The use of plastic in all parts of the energy chain guarantees that the material behaves in the same way in the event of temperature fluctuations. This ensures consistently high precision and dynamics.

Cable variety

The chainflex range extends from energy chain-compatible control cables, servo cables, motor cables and robot cables to bus cables, data cables, encoder cables and fibre optic cables.

Simple assembly without tools

All energy chains can be assembled and disassembled by hand or with a simple flat-blade screwdriver. This makes it possible to replace chain links at any time and at any point on the energy chain and to shorten or lengthen the energy chain.

Wings as noise dampeners

The use of plastic in all parts of the energy chain guarantees that the material behaves in the same way with temperature fluctuations. This ensures consistently high precision and dynamics.
