Thrust ball bearings are bearings specifically designed to absorb axial (thrust) forces along the shaft's axis. Rolling bearings help reduce rotational friction, whereas thrust ball bearings are engineered to handle axial, i.e. thrust forces. They feature ball rolling elements to manage these stresses and absorb these forces in the axial direction of the shaft.

Unlike metal thrust bearings, xiros thrust bearings are lightweight and run smoothly, as the balls are lubrication free. They are characterized by low friction coefficients and good wear resistance. Requiring no additional lubrication, they maintain cleanliness and hygiene, making them ideal for medical and packaging applications. Additionally, they are FDA-certified, making them suitable for the food industry. Please note, axial needle roller bearings are not included in the product range.
