The single-tube linear axis with protected spindle

The tubular system linear unit for light adjustment tasks is ideal for manual adjustments. The single-tube axes from the easytube product range are available in three sizes. The external anodised aluminium guide tube guides one or more guide carriages and simultaneously protects the threaded spindle and lead screw nut from external influences. The carriage, torque support, spindle thrust bearing and lead screw nut are made from a self-lubricating, high-performance polymer plain bearing. This guarantees a low coefficient of friction and low wear. The easytube single-tube guide is ideal for format adjustments and applications in which the drive elements need to be protected from dust and metal chips.

The production of baby nappies requires very high standards of hygiene, which is why easytube's single-tube linear units are particularly well-suited for positioning tasks in nappy production plants. They reliably withstand the high quantities of dirt and dust that are handled during the processing of super-absorbents and pulp and prove themselves in the area of adhesive application points. To ensure that the adhesive application head can be moved consistently from A to B to C, depending on the product, the lead screw of the single-tube linear unit is also equipped with a measuring scale and hand wheel in this application.
