The autonomous weed robot AX-1 from Norwegian start-up Kilter is revolutionising weed management on agricultural land. With GPS navigation, a highly developed vision system and artificial intelligence, the AX-1 applies herbicides directly to the weeds as tiny drops, reducing the use of chemicals by up to 95 per cent. Kilter relies on the lubrication-free and lightweight components of the drylin SLW-25120 linear axis, which reliably adjusts the machine's spraying module to the plant height, for a soil-friendly and environmentally friendly working method. The robust design ensures reliability and enables lasting precision even under harsh field conditions.
