lubrication-free and highly dynamic: storage technology and cables for labelling machines

Dry-running high-performance polymers in format adjustment of Krones labelling systems

Profile

  • What was needed: dryspin® flanged threaded nuts,   drylin® linear guide, drylin® spindle axesxiros ball bearings, chainflex® cable, prefabricated cable readycable®
  • Requirements: Lubrication- and maintenance-free bearing technology, high dynamics, complete system solutions, fast assembly
  • Industry: Beverage industry, labelling technology
  • Success for the customer: From the belt station to the sleeve brush and the infeed and outfeed sensor through to the manual adjustment of the pre-shrink and the height adjustment of the deflection rollers, our bearing technology and our cables are used. The labeller is completely lubrication- and maintenance-free, highly dynamic and reduces downtimes to a minimum.

Figure 1: Left: Transverse adjustment of the belt station with iglidur® J trapezoidal thread flange nut. Right: Height adjustment of belt station with iglidur® J flange nuts and FJUMT adapter.

Figure 2: Sleeve brush height adjustment with trapezoidal lead screw nut and RJMP-solid plastic bearing.

Fig. 3: Transverse adjustment of preshrinkage: The desired width can be set using the hand wheel.

Figure 4: Height adjustment of the pre-shrink with drylin® SLW-1040 Complete solution including clamping, position indicator and crank for adjusting the format of the bottle types.

Figure 5: Height adjustment of hold-down device with SLW-2080 special solution. The energy chain takes over the guidance of the cable.

Figure 6: Adjustment of the infeed sensor using a WS-1040 profile rail and a carriage including manual clamp.

Figure 7: Adjustment of the outlet sensor using a drylin® WS-1040 profile rail and a carriage including manual clamp.

Figure 8: Height adjustment of deflection roller with a drylin® SLW-1040 lead screw module including angular drive and accessories. Depending on the size, between twelve and 36 deflection rollers, each with two xiros ball bearings, are used in the film accumulator.
