Storage systems must work reliably, often around the clock. In order to store and retrieve loads quickly, transfer trolleys (also called cross transfer or shifting trolleys), shuttle systems, and storage and retrieval units (SRUs) are used in high-bay warehouses and automatic mini-load warehouses. To supply these systems reliably with signals and energy and move them smoothly, igus offers durable, maintenance-free energy chains, cables, and bearing components. To make precise statements about our products' service life, we put them through their paces every day under real conditions. One example is our energy chains, which we test for wear and load capacity on a test area of 2,750m2. This enables us to make more binding statements for our customers about how the solution will behave in their application.

If that is not enough, we also perform customer tests upon request and test the products under very specific conditions.
